This past weekend I was in the studio (my friend’s studio 51 Lions in Quincy). Hooker was recording a band, Low Red Land, and asked me to come in and take some shots. I knew I was going to be in the area so I agreed.
And I’m glad I did.
Because. Hello.
The whole band? Ridiculously cute. I mean seriously. Also, Ben if you are reading this (which you probably are because I was real smart and gave you my business card and I hate when I do that because then I can’t really blog about stuff) – anyway. I’m sorry I’m such a creep.
Creep or not, we all went out for a night of drinking and karaoke post studio. It was a good time and those boys really know how to work a crowd.

I think I definitely prefer the kareoke picture. The moody, in-the-studio one is good, but I like seeing men having a good time singing! ;)
Well, that’s same reason guys play in bands, for the Art. (read: Hot Girls).
I’m debating moving to Boston for those boys alone. Tattooed scruffy guys who can sing? Hel-lo.

The one in the blue sweatshirt in the first picture looks vaguely like Quentin Tarantino.

Not totally true. It more went like “ME: You’re recording a band. I need more band pictures.” HOOKER: “Sure come in, I’ll ask but I’m sure it won’t be a problem.” ME: “Plus, I hear they are hot.” HOOKER: “Pffff”

Also… I wish I remembered more of that karaoke experience. I’m sure it was fun. At least that’s what the 800 gallons of Bud told me.
