For those of you in the Boston area, or those of you who are close to the Boston area, or will be visiting the Boston area, or are crazy internet stalkers who will travel to the Boston area**, I am doing a show at the Other Side Cafe. Alongside some great work by my friends Matt Hooker and Gary Hedrick, I will be hanging several of my pieces.
** But if you’re creepy and stalkerish and coming all the way here at least have the courtesey to BUY something. I’ll give you the creepy stalker special: for an extra $5, I’ll lick whatever you buy.
Our pieces will be hanging for the duration of December at the Other Side, but we are also having a kickoff on opening night, Tuesday, December 5th at 9:00 p.m (until close). So if you’re into creepy dolls, gritty night shots, dirty musicians, pissed off kids, public bathrooms and things around my house (ohhh preview right there), come down and grab some dinner, drinks and check out our stuff. You know you want to. They have good beer!

I’m so there. My question, though: when did the Other Side get so swanky? Two years ago they were about to be shut down for building code violations, now they’ve got this hip sign and artful christmas lights on the porch… so much for grit.

i was trying to figure out a way for me to be able to go to this, but i can’t! so, i’ll say now, congrats!! and i wish i could see it. although, i am going to try to get over there before the end of december to see it.
