Last night was incredible. Thank you to everyone who came, everyone who donated, etc etc etc. (I do a much more coherent, detailed job of this over on BostonBlogEvents.com.)
I am so completely wiped out right now in the best way possible. I tried last night to talk to every single person who attended (I think I did a fairly good job of this and only missed a few people. Although I apologize to the people who’s only interaction with me was “Did you sign up for the drawing?” or “TAKE ONE OF MY PINS. NOW.”)
Everyone who came could not have been nicer. So many people thanked me for putting the event together – but honestly, I can only say thank YOU for coming. I love doing that stuff. Which is why I do, for no reason other THAN to do it.
The experience of last year’s event, the planning and executing of this year’s event have me so amped up for more. In fact, I’ve already got the next two events sketched out [the ChocoBeer party in February. If I didn't harass you into signing the email list last night and you want to be on the list for event details as I figure them out, email me at jenny@bostonblogevents.com (make sure you let me know that's why you're emailing me. I'm not good with subtleties.)]
So before I start rambling on and on and on (in my now even MORE mannish voice – HOT!) here’s what you really came here for – the pics!

Thanks AdamG and Ron for the coverage! Last night AdamG gained the official nickname of “The Hugh Hefner of Blogtoberfest”.

I like how my brother and I look very scared and confused by the amount of nerds around us. Not that there’s anything wrong with nerds. We talked about comic books the whole way to Fenway. Mostly Thor.
Hah. I’m glad you guys stopped by last night. You’re great.
I can’t wait to see the costumes on Sat!
so fun last night. thanks again for organizing, you blogstar, you.
Hahaha “Blogstar”. Love it. Making a t-shirt.
You ah supahwoman.
I’m glad everything went good!
It looks like it was a lot of fun! Wish I could have made it out!
For the benefit of those of us who didn’t make it, would you be willing to give some identification of who’s who on some of these?
My first priority was getting the entries, thanks you and photos posted, but I’m going to try my best to work on the identification this weekend!
Jenny soooo sorry I could not make it, especially since I had such a blast last year. I would have thrown my hat into the ring for the hugh hefner competition.
Frank that is so true — well you may get your wish sooner rather than later. The next event is going to be a Belgian chocolate/Belgian beer tasting in February …. sexy!
Jenny, thanks for organizing the event.
Jenny – thanks for organizing it again! You took it up a notch this year! Wow!
Hey girl – sounds like it was a lot of fun. Sorry we missed it/pooped out. But it was great seeing you Saturday. If you feel like zombie-ing out and scaring little kids again this year, come over on Wednesday. I’m making cookies and we’re watching scary movies!!
