Yup. I am less than 20 days away from my 27th birthday and wearing a dental device popular among the tween population. But if I’m going to suffer this humiliation, I am god damn determined to have the straightest teeth this side of the Charles.
Also, how gross am I that I just posted a picture of my friggin retainer?

Please my friend is 35 with the best teeth ever. She wears her retainer to bed almost every night. Atleast you took a picture of it on top of the case not directly on the table :)
It could be worse…braces and headgear!
Dude, they told me I NEEDED braces. 8-10 months. I said “Oh HELLS no.” so we compromised and now I have that pretty piece of plastic.

First of all, it’s hilarious that you posted this picture. Secondly, you are a smart lady to say no to braces if you can do the same thing with a retainer. Braces suck donkey balls. I had them and they left bleached spots on my teeth where the glue was, the wires tore up the inside of my cheeks so they’re all lumpy and easily accidentally bitten now, etc.
Yes, my teeth are straight but I sure as hell wish they had Invisalign in 1988!
I had braces for nearly five years. Even though they told me I would only need them for two. After the braces they gave me a retainer and said I’d have to wear it for the rest of my life. I lost it shortly after. My teeth are still damn sexy too…

I am not one with the grammar. haha. I turn 27 on the 24th. One day before Jesus.
Sweet, you guys can get together with Jesus and organise a group party.
That way, all of Jesus’ friends have to bring you presents too, if they plan to attend.
Actually, Milorad, that’s not a bad idea. We could really skimp on the booze and just have Jesus turn water into wine for us. You think he can turn water into other things? Like beer? Or sparkling water?
