Oh my God, I barely drive anymore so I don’t run into this often but I know what you mean. People are fucking RIDICULOUS. I don’t understand sharking for a spot.

And the fact that it’s at the gym is just a topper.

Jenny! This is great, I love this site!
I’ve already printed out a bunch of their notices to keep in my car, and have started passing them out to friends. I park on the street in the city. And I mean really – three feet between you and the corner? Come ON buddy! Now I have to park a 1/4 mile away….if only you Backed That Thang up three more feet!

This is just like passive aggressive parking or the badparking.wordpress.com site.

I pride myself on having ‘space luck’ but I’m not so inane as to camp out at the front spots.

Luckily I’m not burdened by a physique that could look much worse, so I forgo the gym in exchange for the all-I-can-eat sushi buffet in Framingham.

Just posted about inconsiderate parents of sick kids over on BOC. Similar feeling but I’m too weak to pummel the perpetrators.

Few years ago, to my asshole neighbor who thought he owned our shared driveway. Glad to know I’m not the only one who’s willing to make a point by being the bigger asshole. ;-P

I’ve noticed, especially after new years, that most people seem to be going to the gym to READ!?

Not sure how people believe just sitting on a bike or lightly jogging on a treadmill, so that you can read a mag or book, is considered “exercise” worthy of a gym membership. You could easily get the same from walking just a tad more, and now you’re just clogging up the queue.

Exercise usually involves vigorous movement and sweat people.

As for the parking space, it comes down to common sense and group thought more then exercise. I’ve entered stores by parking at the furthest spot and walking before the car in front of me has even found a space.
