So like I said yesterday, I hope (if you lived in the designated states) that you voted (I did and loved it!). And also, there was in fact a photo of me and Sarah in the February 2008 issue of Boston Magazine.
(The caption for the photo says “Guests after their Best Of Boston Beauty Makeovers”. We did not receive any makeovers. We did however receive many cocktails, which in turn caused many of the patrons to receive a lot of our money on delicious products.)
And now for the contest, since I need some good fun content to keep me going for the rest of the week.
My stepmother coincidentally also happens to be in this month’s issue of Boston Magazine as well. Neither of us had any idea until I bought it to flip through for my pic and stumbled on hers.
Can you find my stepmother? While my name was not listed in the magazine, hers is. And the only hint you’ll get: if you know my name (which you freaking should it’s all over this website and all my other websites), then you can figure out at least a part of her name.
Rules and How to Enter:
There is only one rule 1.) If I talked to you yesterday and TOLD you where she was in the magazine, you can’t play (Sarah, Danielle, Amber, Dad …).
How to Enter: send an email, subject line “Boston Magazine Contest”, to jenny @ alleyesonjenny.com (take out the space around the “@” obviously) and include the PAGE number where she appears in the magazine.
If only one person gets it, they win the prize. If multiple people get it, I will throw all of the names into a hat and draw. BONUS: If you leave me a comment letting me know that you entered and you get it right, I’ll throw your name into the hat TWICE.

The prize: a $25 gift card to Starbucks. The drawing will take place Friday February 8th at 3:00 pm and winners will be posted shortly thereafter.

By the time you approve this, I will have entered. Unless of course the only reason my other comment from the weekend took so long to get approved was because it was like a chapter from some Stephen King or Tolstoy novel.

Well, the comments are working. I checked. I didn’t leave the spaces in or do anything horrible to your address.
This PROBABLY means you didn’t get my response a week ago to the canceled Chocolate (postponed) party.

Well only a couple of people got it and I got more emails than THAT asking for hints. And its more fun when more people play.
This is a game for Boston locals only — or at least those with ready access to a print version of Boston Magazine — which is in short supply down here on the western fringes of the DC beltway.
