Well first I’ll tell you the ANSWERS.

The typeface is one of my favorites: Bodoni. Here is a sample:

The hidden words are Lorem Ipsum.

For those who don’t know, Lorem Ipsum is dummy text graphic designers use as a placeholder in their designs. I always use the Lipsum Generator to get mine (if you click you can read a history of the why the text is used).

Now for the hints. I made sure that if you googled different parts of the contest in conjunction with the clues, the answer would be super easy to find. (So for example if you googled something like “Dante’s Vita Nuova typography” you’d get this. Of course when I started this contest, the Bodoni Wikipedia page was the second result. Apparently my optimization skills worked against you on this one.) The line of text in Hint #4 is a translation of Lorem Ipsum. See?

Anyway, you get the idea. The contest, the clues and google working together to win you prizes.
