Here’s a photo I took yesterday standing on a median in front of the Westin Hotel looking up at the Boston Public Library.
Of all the photos I took yesterday, this one stood out the most – mostly because it looks totally fake and touched up to me, but it’s not! View large on black.
So the second part to my very Boston blog – I am having dinner tomorrow night with a good friend who is in town only for a few days. He’s a former Boston resident (South End), so I’d love to bring him back to his old neighborhood for dinner ….. I obviously know of a bunch of places we could go, but I’d really like to hear your suggestions!
Get to it!

Petit Robert Bistro!! Two salads, two huge entrees, two desserts and a coffee runs about $50. Amazing food.
Also – I just came back from Giacomo’s (only a few blocks from PRB). Amazing home-made pasta with huge portions. On the higher end, there is B&G (if you like seafood), Pops, Aquitane, Union, Rocca, and Gaslight (the last two are good but on slightly sketchy Harrison Ave). If you haven’t been to Petit Robert Bistro, I would highly recommend it.
Have fun!
