Wow. The internet isn’t such a scary place after all. In fact, it is an awesome place, with awesome people, who give some really awesome “Go Get ‘Em!” advice.
It’s really nice to know that a.) it seems everyone at some point goes through something similar and b.) I’m not as crazy as I think I am and c.) even if I am a little crazy, it’s not a bad crazy and most of you are excited about my particular brand of crazy and won’t mind the next few months of crazy play-by-play.
So last night, tired of all the places we normally frequent, my friend Andy and I hopped in the car and navigated our way through our least visited neighborhoods in the city. We ended up at a really great restaurant with an adorable bar U shaped bar. We plopped ourselves in the corner and over blood orange martinis and a piece of baked alaska, we discussed in depth everything I wrote about yesterday.
And Andy got me PUMPED. Do you know what I can do? Anything! AND! Everything! Whenever I want. It’s true because Andy (and the rest of you) told me so.
I stopped with the ridiculous deadline. I stopped trying to force something to happen in the effed up, impossible way I envisioned when I think something way cooler is going to happen in a way I never imagined.
I’ve got some really great ideas scribbled down on paper. Ones that I am really excited to share and put into action.
You’re all going to watch as Jenny Gets a Life and, what you probably didn’t know, is that you’re all going to be a part of it too. This could be fun. I think that things just got interesting …

I’m really glad you put this all out there because I’ve been struggling with similar feelings lately and this is inspiring me to take charge of my own life and move forward instead of just coasting along like I’ve been doing for so long. I hope you keep posting because I can’t wait to see what happens and I hope you find what you’re looking for!!
Jenny – that is great and I’m beyond thrilled that you are steppin’ out of the box. Andy’s right – there is no limit to ANYTHING you can do. Life is meant to be enjoyed and, I think the idea of Jenny Gets A Life YouTube series might BE a good idea ;)
