Poking around the internet last night I stumbled on a video of the same title as this entry (I know can you stand how clever I am?).

Click to watch the 4 minute short in the You Tube Screening room.
After watching it and thinking about it, I can say confidently that no I am not THE FAVORITE person of anybody. I know it’s true because the realization came quickly and it didn’t bother me at all. I think saying that publicly sounds a lot sadder than it is. Because I am very certain in knowing that I’m up there in the ranks for a handful of people. And that realization came just as quickly.
Your turn: Are you the favorite person of anybody? Are you sure? Very certain? Confident? You think so? Not so sure? Could be? How does that make you feel?

I am certain that I am not the favorite person of anybody. I was probably the favorite person of my younger sister until she fell in love and got engaged. I agree that it’s not nearly as sad as it sounds. Despite not being anyone’s favorite, I am still loved by many.
I’m quite certain that I am the favorite person of several people, actually. And I think that bothers me more than it bothers you to not be anyone’s favorite. It’s a lot of pressure and I don’t like it. And it makes me feel guilty since they (obviously) aren’t all MY favorite person.
Um I can think of someone whose favorite person you probably are.
Hint: Saltines and Kraft American Cheese.
I’m scared. And I HOPE that’s not true.
YES – only because I have children; however, it can be heavily influenced by whether or not I allow them to watch “tv”…in which case, my husband becomes their favorite person.
tv = 3 minute, age appropriate youtube music clips – e.g., bow wow wow’s “i want candy” or peter, paul and mary’s “puff the magic dragon”
i’m adored by countless millions. let me tell you, it’s quite the burden.
I would love to say that I’m the favorite person of my children. Really, I would. But, I’m afraid that would be a lie. As teenagers, their friends are probably more important than I am. Sob.
But at least you can look forward to the point when you’re parents go back to being some of your most favorite people. But probably not in those crazy teen years ;)
i would like to think that i am C’s favorite person.. ? and i’m probably some people’s third- or fourth-favorite person, which is nice i think. but like amanda said, the whole favorite-person-thing can come with a lot of expectations and pressure…
oh and you are my favorite boston based designer and photographer – how’s that?
