Is anyone else going to the Best of Boston Style event tonight hosted by Boston Magazine? I’ll be there with a mix of friends and coworkers, say hi if you’ll be there too!
I finalized my outfit for the wedding this weekend, the dress, the shoes, this clutch from Banana (which is no longer on their website. BOO.), paired with a long gold necklace with a yellowy-green “stone” (read: big hunk of plastic) from H&M. Hair: TBD, but I’m thinking a big messy updo with sideswept bangs. We’ll see how saucy I feel this weekend. Really, I’m just psyched I’m not wearing (or carrying) a stitch of BLACK. I am doing mustards! And jewel tones! And animal prints! Oh and a hot pink three quarter sleeve jacket. Color is the new black, people.
Finally, I’m thinking Blogtoberfest is just going to be a super casual meet up this year. I’m looking at Thursday October 23rd. Bar undecided thus far, but suggestions are welcome. I’m thinking casual and cheap. No sponsors, no prizes – we can just go and chill out. I wish I had the time to actually sit and focus on this event, but I’ve got a lot of stuff on my plate right now. I just can’t put the time and energy that I want into it and I still want to do something, but I don’t want to half ass what I’ve done in the past. So a casual meet up seems the way to go. Thoughts? Suggestions? Please don’t hate.

I would love to come to Blogtoberfest this year, I didn’t know about it last year. I’m all about cheap and casual so that sounds great to me! I have no suggestions as I’ve never attended a blogger event before, but if I can do anything to help let me know.
Casual sounds great! Everyone totally appreciates all the effort you put into it, but I think we’ll do fine with just meeting up and hanging out. Unfortunately I can’t do the 23rd though!
