Speaking of yearbooks …

I dug up some old photos of my mom, one from high school (to follow up on my comment in my last post about how much we look alike), and then a surprise one of her at about the age I am now.

We joke about how much I look like her, but. Um. I really don’t think she can deny me:

and …… REALLY??

Mom

In case any of us were ever wondering what I’d look like in the 70s … there you have it.

So you may not hear from me here in the next couple of days. I’m off to Washington DC to woo some clients. But I’ll have the iPhone and will surely be all over Twitter and Flickr. Especially Tuesday during the day - that’s my “run around DC alone and take it all in” day.

I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled posting on Thursday!

Yearbook Yourself

Wow, look how attractive I am in any decade. These are freaking hilarious.

1956:

1962:

1974 (I need to find my mom’s yearbook photo because this is downright CREEPY):

1984 (I put on a few pounds that year):

1990:

and my actual graduating year 1998:

My senior pic wasn’t too far off from this either. Yikes.

Got tickets?

TO THE GUN SHOW?

I interrupt this busy work day for ... a Gun Show.

BAM!

Uh yeah. I really need to get out of the office more. This place is turning me into a photobooth fool.

I’m glad I hit the gym this morning, because now I just feel like hitting my pillow.

Today I was rear-ended (I was stopped at a red light. The person behind me apparently didn’t feel like stopping. I’m fine, it’s fine.). Then I had to run around my office/the city like a maniac to make a certain project HAPPEN. Then I had to cab it to my other office to make a meeting (that seemed to last forever and was in a FREEZING, and I mean FREEZING conference room) … and that brings us to now.

I am drawing a blogging blank. So instead of boring you with statements like “What’s with the AC?!” or “This weather. UGH.” or “My car. WAAHHHH.”, I’ll leave you with a photo I stole from Miss Fabulous from this weekend. It is what I would like to be doing now. And probably what I will be doing in … oh 45 minutes.

I love stealing Ulli's photos

Don’t we look like two little devils. RAWR.

Also before I go - details are coming together for Boston Blogtoberfest ‘08. I’m going to check out some venues and hit up some sponsors this week. If you are a company or an individual who is interested in sponsoring, please shoot me an email: jenny@alleyesonjenny.com!

A Fabulous Weekend

I spent the majority of this weekend working, either on Jimmy Fund related things (oh hai, donate plz) or at a photoshoot. I did however manage to fit in drinks with my former, fabulous boss over at Bouchee on Friday and an event over at the Samson Projects on Saturday.

I only have photos of Saturday. So that’s the one you will hear about/see. Plus the Friday night drinks were too gossipy for you all to handle!

The Saturday night event was part of the It’s Pop It’s Art US Tour, and was run by my good friend Steve’s music promotion and management company Pirate!. It also happened to be deliciously sponsored by Black Swan Wines (and WOW did those sponsors pour a full glass).

Steve invited me last week, and I decided to drag Miss Fabulous along with me.

We dressed up, we drank wine, we looked at some (really cool) art, we networked and hung out. And then we left and had a romantic dinner date among the gays in the South End, followed by some running-around-the-city antics, and finally settling in at Cuffs, the bar at Jurys Hotel.

A few photos from the evening:

So there you go. My night in pics. Well the blog-approved ones at least. Also, I’m sorry but how CUTE are my t-strap sandals? They got cut off in that head to toe photo, and I think deserved another link. Of course while looking to link them, I found them for cheap ($49!!) on Overstock right now.

So enough about me, what did you do?
